We handle knitwear, woven garments and fabrics, including private-label ranges and programmes divided between Great Britain, Northern Ireland and EU destinations. Design, development, sampling, lab testing and quality control are in-house. Production runs across our audited network. Programmes run through India or Bangladesh; the production base is agreed at enquiry against product, fabric, construction, quantity, certification and delivery requirements. Minimums are set per style and confirmed at enquiry.
The destination determines the label, chemical scope and document set.
We confirm where the goods will be placed, prepare the controls below and hand over the agreed evidence with the order.
Textile label
We prepare fibre composition using recognised names in English. Care and size are included to the agreed commercial specification.
Chemical scope
Great Britain uses UK REACH, while EU REACH continues to apply in Northern Ireland. We set testing against the named destination and agreed scope.
Product records
The private-label and import arrangement is captured so the required product and operator information can be prepared for the relevant business role.
Audit evidence
Where a qualifying organisation’s programme requires supply-chain evidence, we assemble the agreed audit and traceability records during production.
Approval and inspection
Each physical label is approved before bulk. Measurements, finish and packing are checked to the sealed sample and your agreed AQL.
Surajmal Shobhachand is a vertically integrated textile export house established in 1968, handling approximately 15 million garments a year. It has received the Texprocil “Highest Global Exporter” award seven times. Approved destination versions remain tied to the production and inspection record.
Send a tech pack, product photograph or reference sample, plus fabric and finish, quantities by style and colour, target delivery, the UK destination and any testing or certification requirements. Include every EU destination if the programme is split. We reply within 24 hours with feasibility, indicative cost, the minimum per style, open questions and the next development step.
Do Great Britain and Northern Ireland use the same chemical regime?
No. Great Britain uses UK REACH, while EU REACH continues to apply in Northern Ireland. We set the test scope after the destination is confirmed.
What information do you prepare for a UK textile label?
We prepare fibre composition using recognised names in English, plus care and size information to the agreed commercial specification.
Can one programme serve UK and EU destinations?
Yes. We define the label, chemical-compliance and documentation scope for each destination during development, then approve every required version before bulk.
What supply-chain evidence can you provide?
We provide the agreed audit, certification and material-traceability records assembled for the programme. The exact handover is confirmed during development.
What happens after I enquire?
We reply within 24 hours with feasibility, indicative cost, the minimum per style and the information needed to begin development.
