We handle knitwear, woven garments and fabrics for the Spanish market. Clients include Zara, Bershka and Desigual. A Spanish programme is planned around a drop calendar: colours confirmed close to the drop, repeats held open against a live style, bulk scheduled backwards from a fixed shop date. Programmes run through India or Bangladesh; the production base is agreed at enquiry against product, fabric, construction, quantity, certification and delivery requirements. Minimums are set per style and confirmed at enquiry.
Spanish label information, approved before the first drop ships.
A range that ships in waves cannot re-approve its artwork each time. We settle the label content once, against the Spanish requirements, and hold it as the standard for every colourway that follows.
Castilian on the label
Mandatory labelling information for goods marketed in Spain is given at least in Castilian Spanish. We prepare that version and any further languages the programme carries.
What the label carries
Spanish consumer law sets out the essential information a product carries, including the producer’s name and full address, the nature and composition of the goods, use instructions and the customer-service route. We build the artwork from the brand’s own operator details.
Fibre composition
Fibre composition uses recognised names in the destination language, with non-textile parts of animal origin declared where they apply.
Colour drops
Each colourway is approved as a lab dip against the sealed sample and dated to its drop. The approval record travels with the style, so a colour added mid-season is matched to the same standard as the first.
Repeat runs
A repeat is made to the sealed sample and the approved artwork already on file, with the same inspection standard applied. We confirm fabric availability and the schedule when the repeat is placed.
Surajmal Shobhachand is a vertically integrated textile export house established in 1968, handling approximately 15 million garments a year. It has received the Texprocil “Highest Global Exporter” award seven times. The sealed sample and the approved artwork stay the reference across every drop in a range.
Send a tech pack, product photograph or reference sample, plus fabric and finish, quantities by style and colour, the drop dates the range is built around, the Spanish destination and any testing or certification requirements. We reply within 24 hours with feasibility, indicative cost, the minimum per style, open questions and the next development step.
Does a label for the Spanish market have to be in Spanish?
Yes. Mandatory labelling and presentation information for goods marketed in Spain must appear at least in Castilian, the official Spanish language of the State. Other languages may be carried alongside it.
What information does Spanish consumer law expect a garment to carry?
The producer’s name and full address, the nature, composition and purpose of the goods, quality or commercial denomination, instructions for correct use and for sustainable waste management, and the customer-service and complaints route. We prepare the artwork from the operator details the brand supplies.
How is a late colour confirmation handled?
Base fabric is booked against the style while lab dips run, so the colour decision sits at the dyeing stage instead of the yarn stage. The confirmed lab dip is approved against the sealed sample and the run is scheduled to its drop date.
How do you handle a repeat of a style already shipped?
It is made to the sealed sample and the approved label artwork already on file, inspected to the same standard. We confirm fabric availability and the production schedule when the repeat is placed.
Can one programme serve Spanish and other EU destinations?
Yes. Label content, chemical-compliance scope and documentation are defined per destination during development, and every required version is approved before bulk.
What order sizes do you work with?
We work across a wide range, from small and emerging brands to the largest global retailers. Minimums are set per style and confirmed at enquiry.
