What This Is

We handle knitwear, woven garments, denim, kidswear and fabrics for China, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, with a separate label, safety and certification record held for each destination named in the brief. Programmes run through [India](/services/sourcing-india) or [Bangladesh](/services/sourcing-bangladesh); the production base is agreed at enquiry against the product, fabric, quantity, certification and delivery brief. Minimums are set per style and confirmed at enquiry.

How It Works

## 01. Brief and feasibility

Send the tech pack, reference sample or product brief, with quantities, the destination or destinations and delivery target. Within 24 hours, we return feasibility, indicative cost, the minimum per style and the certification questions to settle before development.

## 02. Development and sampling

We develop the fabric, construction, trims, testing plan and destination label artwork against the agreed brief. First samples are typically sent in 4 to 10 days.

## 03. Approval before bulk

You approve the sealed sample, measurements, physical label and packing method. The applicable national standard and marking route are recorded against the approved specification before production begins.

## 04. Production and handover

Bulk takes 35 to 90 days after approval, depending on construction and quantity. We provide progress and inspection status, then assemble the agreed test evidence, label records and export documents. We confirm the shipping scope with the quotation.

### China identification

Article 27 of the Product Quality Law requires Chinese product identification, including the product name, the producer name and address, and qualification evidence. ### China childrenswear

Infant and children’s textile products carry the mandatory safety code GB 31701, which requires the applicable safety category to be identified. ### South Korea marking

Ordinary adult apparel is a Safety Standards Compliance product under the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act, so no KC mark or confirmation number is affixed. ### South Korea children

Children’s products run under the Special Act on the Safety Control of Children’s Products, covering ages 13 and under. Textile products under 36 months take the safety-confirmation route with product testing; from 36 months to 13 they take supplier conformity confirmation. ### Taiwan durable marking

The Apparel Labeling Standards under the Commodity Labeling Act require origin, fibre and filling composition and care information to be durably marked on the garment. ### Taiwan care symbols

Care information uses the prescribed BSMI care-label graphics. ### Hong Kong claims

Hong Kong compels no general fibre, care, size or origin field on ordinary apparel. Can one programme serve China, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong? +

Yes, where each destination is named in the brief. Separate label, evidence and approval records are prepared, because these four do not share one apparel labelling scheme.

What must appear on a China-bound apparel label? +

Article 27 of the Product Quality Law requires Chinese product identification, the producer name and address, and qualification evidence. Does adult apparel need a KC mark in South Korea? +

No. Ordinary adult apparel sits outside the KC tiers as a Safety Standards Compliance product, so no KC mark or confirmation number is affixed. Does Taiwan require a sewn-in or printed label? +

For most garments, origin, fibre composition and care information must be conspicuously and durably sewn, stamped, thermoprinted or printed on the garment. Size may instead appear on the garment, packaging or instructions. Are fibre and care labels mandatory in Hong Kong? +

No general field is compelled for ordinary apparel.
